The Roman women wore a lot of dress and the the Roman men wore tunics. Tunics were made of two pieces of undyed wool sewn together at the sides and shoulders and belted in such a way that the garment just covered the knees. They also wore Togas. The Toga was made of a large woolen cloth cut with both straight and rounded edges, it was not sewn or pinned but carefully draped over the body on top of the tunic. They wore sandals, with open toes which were proper for wearing indoors.
